Presentation Marketing Tips: The Hub and Spoke Marketing Presentation

cube and radius model

There is an interesting analogy for a very effective marketing model. It is known as the center and spoke model.

Hub = You and your message

In central and radial marketing, the center of everything, the center, is you and your message. After all, that is what you have to offer the world.

Spokes = They are the means between you and your market

The spokes of the wheel, the connectors between you and your market, are the media. Media consists of all the many ways you can spread your message. There are books, eBooks, teleseminars, spectacular presentations, eCourses, podcasts, and the list goes on and on.

Rueda = it’s your market

The wheel is your market. All of those different media are designed to tie you and your message to the wheel…your market. The idea is to use many different ways to get your message across to your market. That way, if one or two of them stop being effective, you have plenty more to fall back on.

Just think though… you could have one message, many different media, and still have a flat tire (market). You have to know what your market wants. If they don’t want what you’re offering, it won’t matter how you get it to them, and they’ll be a disinterested or flat market.

An interesting model? Definitely.

There’s also an interesting way to actually learn how this works.
