The truth about awakening is that it is critical that we awaken to a deeper truth about our experiences on this planet, particularly now, when so many people are preoccupied with current events. Rising food and fuel costs, ongoing warfare, economic recessions, and natural disasters indicate a time of global crisis. When we add our own personal and professional challenges to this picture, the future doesn’t look very promising.
New Age leaders teach the importance of “focusing on the Light” and using your thoughts, feelings, and actions to “attract” what you want to experience in your life. Focusing on your fears and the things you don’t want attracts more of the same, they tell you. If you can learn to “change your energy field,” you can begin to change what appears in your life. And when you begin to understand the power of your thoughts and feelings, the importance of monitoring the focus of your attention and controlling your behavior patterns, you begin to “wake up.” Attraction seems to be the key. However, even though the “Law of Attraction” has become an everyday concept, conditions on earth do not seem to improve. On a personal level, you probably still feel frustrated and helpless when it comes to changing your life, as evidenced by the proliferation of new shows on the internet that promise you tea key that “you will finally create the life you want right now.”
But perhaps there is a deeper perspective available that, if added to our current understanding (that we are in the midst of an awakening process), will create the critical mass necessary for real change to occur. This perspective, the perspective of the higher self, is beginning to emerge in consciousness.
Consider that much of the fear and inertia that is holding you back in your life could be alleviated if you knew that your higher self had planned your life experiences. so that you grow, so that you come to know yourself as “someone who rose to the challenge.” Because your higher self had planned everything in your life, including your biggest challenges, you have the ability to complete those challenges successfully. In other words, the keys to the realization of your life lie within. All you have to do is reconnect with your higher self, develop a relationship with it so that you can listen to its guidance (your intuition) and trust it enough to move on quickly and steadily.
When you begin to do this, you will get a glimpse of your soul’s original plan. Your life will begin to make more sense to you and you will begin to understand how you fit into the larger “running experience” or “running game.”
Collectively, if we knew that each of us has a role in planning this game of earth, and if we remember why we agreed to “play the game” in the first place, we would see the world’s crises as opportunities rather than dire . things to avoid. We would know that we have the inner power to complete challenges successfully.
I came to understand that we created this land game a long, long time ago, and also with good intentions: for us to learn and grow. As new souls, we yearn to discover who we really were, and the best way to get to know ourselves was through first-hand experience. For variety, we create variety on earth, including a variety of belief systems. Things got interesting when some of us agreed to be the “good guys” and some of us “not so good.” Every now and then we swapped roles to find out what it was like on the other side. We did all of this for each other knowing that this ground-based experiment would be instrumental in helping us evolve as quickly as possible. Although we knew that some of our experiences would be extremely difficult, we knew that this was the fastest way of spiritual growth. We also knew that this time in “duality” would be temporary. At some point, while we were in the process of learning our final lessons, we would remember that this was “just” a game that we had created once. We could complete the game successfully, that is: create a new world, a “Golden Age”.
Now we will not remember planning this game, this “fall in consciousness” (in the sense of having conscious memories of it). In order to play it properly, we had to forget that we had planned it. Forget was required to play the “real” game. It was also necessary to acquire the belief systems that each of us accepted. Had we known that we had invented them, we may not have played this game with full conviction, which would have derailed the learning experiences that our souls truly desired. But our souls are powerful, so powerful that we have created an illusion and then we have lived it as if it were real to achieve greater and much nobler goals for ourselves.
As I faced the challenges in my own life, I came to understand that each and every person on this planet had agreed to play the game of duality. (Or you can call this game “dark versus light” or “learning through contrast” if you like). If his higher self hadn’t agreed to play this game of earth, he wouldn’t be here right now. In addition, you have a unique life purpose, an individual contribution that will help you fulfill the game. “Fulfilling your soul’s purpose” is another way of saying, “rising to the challenge.”
So unless you can begin to see the bigger picture, unless you can understand from your soul’s perspective: that this experience on earth is like a dream that you and yours (those involved in your life) had planned. for the purpose of growth, only then can you consider yourself waking up from the dream. And the more aware you are of the vastness of your higher self’s perspective and understanding, the more you can consider yourself awake.
So humanity did not actually “fall from grace” as we were led to believe, but intentionally planned this “fall” as if it were real so that we could learn, grow, and experience how we rise again. This also implies that you are much more powerful and good than you thought. Realizing the extent of your power helps you take effective action, but it may not to know yourself as powerful unless you experience yourself be powerful, which means starting to solve your current challenges. By solving your own challenges, you will help solve the crises on this planet.
Rising to the challenge requires something, of course. It takes a commitment to develop a relationship with your higher self. Courage is also required, as your wisdom and deeper purpose will likely run counter to collective conditioning.
Once the relationship with your higher self is at least so Important and as real to you as any of your other relationships, once you trust him enough to quickly and steadily follow his guidance (expressed from your higher self), you experience what is called “critical mass.” This is the point where the universe begins to cooperate like never before, because you are now “aligned” with the divine plan. This is also when you begin to discover your hidden gifts, by accessing that part of you that has been around forever: your higher self.
While this may require something of you, you do not need to become Mother Teresa or Gandhi; you have your own contributions based on your individual gifts and talents. Human beings have both a common general purpose (to learn, grow, etc.) and a specific purpose based on individual identity. This suggests that the individual, personality or “ego” should not be “denied” as some have proposed, but accepted and even accentuated. By the way, “Unity” does not mean that we are all the same, or that we return to some nebulous source where their identity no longer exists. It simply means that your “ego” and your higher self are integrated within you.
So while you don’t need to feel like you’re trying the impossible, you do need to commit and take your soul purpose “seriously.” Because that’s when the universe will support you; that’s when you will receive what you need to fulfill your purpose. The universe will answer your questions, synchronicities will occur regularly, you will know that you are on the right track.
The world is the way it is and circumstances are the way they are so that we can discover who we are, even who we are when times get tough. (Isn’t that what counts?) We have the ability to fulfill our deepest dreams by following our inner guidance and expressing ourselves from our higher selves.
We cannot fail if we follow this guide. If we can begin to see from the perspective of the soul, if we can see this moment as an opportunity, we can be vehicles for truth and freedom; we can succeed. The power of the higher self expressed through the human psyche and body is what will change this planet, and nothing else. This is the truth about awakening.
