The Law of Attraction and Sarah Palin

In this article, we’ll look at how the law of attraction triggered the rapid rise of Sarah Palin, and how it can do the same in your life. The basic premise of the law of attraction is this: what you focus on expands, where attention goes, energy flows, and if you focus hard enough, the results begin to show up as a physical reality.

When Sarah Palin was announced as John McCain’s running mate, she immediately received a tremendous amount of attention, not so much because of her nomination, but because she was a woman, and a very proud woman at that. Love her or hate her, Sarah Palin was impossible to ignore when she burst onto the political scene.

And this is what got him the nomination in the first place. Sarah Palin’s combination of fierce determination and sometimes controversial views caught people’s attention long before they considered her for office. And that’s the key word here: Warning. Where attention goes, energy flows, and in the case of Sarah Palin, a lot of attention was paid to her.

You see, whether you like a political candidate or not, the candidate who gets the most attention – well Prayed bad – always wins. Of course, in the McCain/Sarah Palin case, the Barack Obama team drew even more attention, for a myriad of reasons, and thus won the election.

How does this apply to you?

For starters, people like Sarah Palin, Barack Obama or anyone with that level of success have a lot more discipline than most people. If the average person’s focus is equal to a blunt knife, yours is equal to a laser beam. Highly effective/successful/powerful people don’t need movies like The Secret.

They don’t need to visualize or do any law of attraction techniques to get what they want, because they do it naturally. They don’t have the subconscious plugs that most of us have, and if they do, they were turned off long ago, by their relentless willpower, coupled with unstoppable, laser-focused ACTION.

The key to taking action is, of course, overcoming the subconscious obstacles, also known as the reason why you haven’t achieved your dreams yet.

The reason you haven’t reached your goals yet is not because you’re too old, too late, too fat, too skinny, not talented enough, not handsome enough, not fast enough, not smart enough, or any other reason you can think of.

The reason you don’t have everything you want in your life right now is because of one thing: your subconscious counterintentions. If you can somehow get past them, the world literally becomes yours, and fast.

Once you get past those subconscious blocks, the speed at which your dreams begin to manifest can be staggering.
