Think! Only you are responsible for yourself

What makes a person unproductive? Are there too many people who live life waiting for someone to validate them, validate them?

How many people find themselves looking around to see what others are doing or have done just to see if what they are planning fits?

Some will say “yes I have, and I just end up frustrated and locked up. “If that sounds familiar, know that a person can consciously divorce labels or be locked up.

Most people are known to stereotype others by their given or chosen title. Honestly, know that people don’t have just one title.

Many people are authoritarian when they impose their style of thinking and acting on others: the box in method. Honestly, there are several ways to achieve it all.

Labeled “What are you doing?”

Hidden or conscious stereotypes?

People often put a label on others or try to pigeonhole a person simply by asking, “what are you doing?” Or asking

  • “Are you a professional speaker?”

  • “Are you an athlete?”

  • “Are you a business executive?”

  • “Are you a web developer?”

  • “Are you an entrepreneur?”

  • “Are you a marketer?”

  • “Are you a socialist?”

  • “Are you a Republican or a Democratic?”

  • “Are you a member of country club ____?”

  • “Are you a _____ (fill in the blank)?”

Many people find that those are the kinds of questions that make them feel restrictive or that people are trying to evaluate.

For example, a person says “I am a software engineer, “and the other person stereotypes them immediately when responding”,You are one of those computer nerds.

As a result of stereotypes, some people may choose to let the traditional “What is your job“The question goes unanswered. It won’t matter because the person asking or listening will immediately assign a label based on that interaction, such as strange, disrespectful, unpleasant, hostile, suspicious, weak, insignificant, hostile, unpleasant, lower class, impolite, dishonest, and so.

Who wants to be labeled that could lead to unpopular stereotypes?

Even if a person does not want their life to be defined / confined in one or two words, everyone must control the narrative as much as possible.

That is why people must know themselves, be aware of who they are, and believe in themselves. Also, have the wisdom and understanding that tags are words that can be easily changedAnd in some environments, labels can be useful.

There are different elements for everyone; why deciding on a single label is a challenge. For example, a motivational-type person may believe that they should never be labeled or pigeonholed. They may have always thought that way. How does such a person put on a single label?

Whether it is acceptable or not, many believe that we are operating on the assignments that we have been given. How do we label that?

We must use our best judgment when deciding the best situation to use a particular title or tag. When in doubt, remember that the label we wear today is a word that can easily be changed tomorrow.

A feeling of being enclosed, limited?

Structured or unstructured: which is more desirable?

Living with a structured (highly defined) or unstructured environment at home, work, or play is hard to say with 100% certainty that one way or another is the perfect answer. Many situations require a bit of both, or just one or the other.

For this article, we will discuss the ramifications of creative (free-spirited) people finding themselves in a highly structured environment.

When someone tells you to only do something in one specific way, be cool by asking why. Or ask ‘why’ or accept the status quo.

For example, a friend took a job where they told him when to go to lunch, when to go to the bathroom, what to do and how to do it, how to think, be and do. We understand that it is because many people can think but do not trust what they see or their ability to use their brain to make the right decision. Then management steps in and defines a structured step-by-step rule to help that group of people. Still, those rules dampen enthusiasm.

Plus, working in places like that will block creativity and stifle motivation by trying your best to fit in, and that won’t work. Why?

Free (individualistic) spirits who should never be locked up find that they function best in an unstructured environment. The unstructured environment allows a person to fully dedicate themselves to work and produce good results. (Note that unstructured means that the environment is disorganized, chaotic, or in disorder.)

You heard the saying, “If there are limits, will I try to break them down?” Does that describe a family feeling? If so, keep asking “why” as often as possible.

Have you ever noticed when one person makes demands and another may not feel good about what they are told to do, but do so out of respect or fear? Explain why a person should feel intimidated into committing to someone else’s choice of actions.

Have you ever wondered why that happens most of the time?

  • “Why should I do that? Tell me more, please.”

  • “Why do you think I should go this way?”

  • “Why do you think I should dress your way?”

  • “Why should I create this type of business?”

Don’t worry if you start asking why.

Tradition: Is it worth it or is it just stuck in time?

Many times, people get stuck in tradition. Being stuck says, “This is the way we always do it, so this is the way you should too.”

Staying real is how we thrive, as a world, at any level in history. Being authentic allows a person to have the vision to understand that there are many different and unique ways of doing things.

Being true to yourself is the reason we can fly around the world; Alberto Santos-Dumont and the Wright brothers broke the “rules” and asked why.

There are so many things in our lives that people tell us we can or cannot do. We begin to settle for the opinions of others. That tends to limit our potential because our potential lies in our vision.

Who wants to be required to take action that could lead to unpleasant stereotypes? So, control the narrative.

Knowing, catching those visions, dreams

Our vision is what we see when we close our eyes and imagine in our thinking. It is that moment of inspiration in which we imagine ourselves doing something and we are living it in our mind. Also, we feel like we’re there, and we think, “Oh my gosh, this is me.”

Then we’ll screw it up by opening our eyes, looking around us, and thinking, “Oh, that’s not realistic.”

Free ourselves to be who we are. We will be a better person, employee, entrepreneur, spouse, brother, friend, person in general.

  • Realizing our potential in life is unrealistic.

  • Reaching our potential in life is breaking the rules.

  • Realizing our potential in life is risky.

  • Reaching our potential in life is not doing what everyone else is doing and not settling.

  • We are fulfilling our potential in life, learning how to align our decision making and taking actions according to the vision we see.

Unleash the rebel inside (In the right way of course)

Some of us have been rebels all our lives. Much of this is because we don’t see life the way other people see it. We questioned it and got into a long discussion to ask why.

He wonders why we have to do it this way. It may lead to many friendly conversations. Above all, it helps to understand others when they take the time to explain their “why” to us.

The more we grow in life, we will realize that we are right. Yes, we are challenging a traditional way of doing things. Also, some people don’t like being challenged by anyone.

If you feel stuck or controlled, a person may need to begin to acknowledge that they are a rebel with a cause. Not in a disrespectful way. A rebel fight against something. For this reason, many people do not like the term rebel. It is okay if a person is fighting something that goes against who he is.

Many successful people I know go against any mediocrity. They fight against being typical. They fight against mingling.

They fight against doing things the way others do just because that’s the way they do it.

Stay informed: analysis is essential

Make sure you do the work and research things when in doubt. That work and research will allow for an open conversation and allow others to gain a new perspective.

If doing something “it’s always been done this way” doesn’t align with your vision, you can choose not to do it. If getting a tag (title) doesn’t feel right or you don’t agree with you, take steps to change that perception.

It’s okay to ask why, and if people still say that our way of doing something is wrong, keep asking why. Then go out there and teach them how to do it successfully in the way that feels right to you.

Hoping this article will propel the progression to a more successful personal and work life. Wishing everyone the best.
